Qld: Proud day as kiwis lead Brisbane march

It was a proud day for New Zealand veterans as they led the Anzac Day march in Brisbane
for the first time today.

The parade followed a touching dawn service at Anzac Square .. attended by Premier
ANNA BLIGH .. Governor PENELOPE WENSLEY and Brisbane Mayor CAMPBELL NEWMAN.

New Zealander and Korean War veteran TREVOR KING .. who now lives in Brisbane .. says
letting the Kiwis lead the march was the greatest thing that could happen since bread
and butter.
