MORE drivers than pedestrians have died on roads this festive season and most accidents in the Western Cape and the country have involved single motor vehicles.

Of the greatest concern so far for the Arrive Alive campaign were factors like drunken driving, speeding, fatigue and vehicle failure, all implying a loss of control by the driver.
