Vic: Woman dies in house fire
A woman is dead and two children are feared dead after fire gutted a house in Melbourne'ssouth east early this morning.
A spokesman for the Country Fire Authority says one woman is confirmed dead in theCarrum Downs house and two children are thought to be missing.
He says they won't know for some time if the children were in the house at the time.
Fire brigades were called to what was thought to be a shed fire at around 7am (AEST).
When crews arrived they found both the shed and the house alight, but were able toget the blaze under control fairly quickly.
