NSW: Plea for help in tracking down killer

A friend of a slain Sydney service station attendant has issued an impassioned plea
for help in tracking down the killer.

University student SANJAY ROY, 31, was working the overnight shift at a Mobil station
in Woolooware on Christmas Eve when he was shot in the head.

He'd been due to finish his shift at 6am but in his last hour, ROY, an Indian national
completing his MBA at the University of Technology, Sydney, was gunned down.

His body was discovered by a male customer at 5.40am.

Strike Force Polesworth Detective Senior Constable STUART GAIR says the wanted man
is described as 178cm tall, of medium to fat build, with short black hair and was wearing
a green hat, jacket and light coloured long pants.

MUKUNDA SHERMA, who's Hurstville house ROY moved in to just two weeks before his
death, says the public holds the key in helping find his friend's killer.

Police have also appealed for help in finding a 1980s model, white Commodore sedan
believed to have been the killer's getaway car.
